Ten Years Later

I was in the 4th grade 10 years ago today. I still remember watching it on the news in class. That day changed the US and brought our country together. That day will NEVER be forgotten!
I pray for the families of those who died, the police and firefighters that ran in to help others, the people in and near the towers who ran back in to try to find people in the towers, and for those in the armed forces that have fought or are currently fighting and protecting our country.
God Bless America!

Wellies

Since it has been raining in Lexington for the past few days, I have spent the day looking up cute new wellies (aka rain boots). These are super cute! Just because it's raining doesn't mean you can't have cute boots.

Game Day Fashion

College football season finally started this past weekend!

I LOVE football, I am the one at all the games (or watching if I can't be there) cheering on my team. And you best believe that if the ref makes a bad call, I am the one yelling at him from the stands. I grew up going to Indiana University games with my family, so I have grown up with football.
I am the girl in class that is checking scores from games, watching highlights, comparing stats, and of course, keeping my self very updated on the battle for the Heisman.

Now that I am at the University of Kentucky this year, I will be dressed in my game day best and cheering on the Cats!

C-A-T-S CATS CATS CATS!

A southern girl should always be fashionably dressed in her team's colors
(Jean shorts and a T-shirt are not my idea of game day attire).
Dresses and skirts in her school's colors are ideal. Looking classy and fashionable at tailgate and in the stadium are a must for any southern girl.

Hairstyles

My hair has finally gotten longer!
I have missed my long hair and I am so happy it's getting long again. I want it to grow a bit more, but I am just happy it's not short anymore. I have been looking for some different things to do with my hair now that it has grown out.

I love big hair, I use hair spray like it's my job. I have already gone through a big can of hairspray since I have been at school. Someone had to actually come to my room and clean out the smoke detector thing because it said my room was smokey, which I later found out was from all my hairspray. Oops! Looks like I have to start spraying my hair in the bathroom.

Here are some hairstyles I can attempt now that my hair is getting longer:

My hair currently hits at around my armpit when it is straight and down. I would love for my hair to be around the length of the hair in this picture(below):
